HOW TO USE SCHOOLPASS

Attendance Protocols

Reporting Absences and Late Arrivals

If a student will miss even one class, or if he will arrive late to school, his parent or guardian must notify the school by no later than 8:10 a.m. that day. The fastest way to report is through the SchoolPass app or website, which creates the attendance record directly. You may also call 901-261-4907 or 901-261-4908, or email attendance@cbhs.org. Please provide your son's name, his year in school, and the reason for his absence. This must be done for every school day he is absent.

When a student arrives late to school, he must check in with the attendance officer before reporting to class.

When a student returns to school following an absence, he should submit a note before school from his parent/guardian or guardian explaining the absence to the attendance officer in Cook Auditorium Lobby.

Early Dismissal

Students are picked up from Stephen Hall. A student who drives is dismissed unless he is too unwell to operate a vehicle.

If a student needs to leave school early, his parent or guardian must submit the request through the SchoolPass app. The student will report to Stephen Hall at the specified time.

If the school nurse determines a student is unwell and unable to remain in class, the nurse or the Dean's office will contact his parent or guardian.

Please note that a student may not be checked out after 2 p.m. unless he is dismissed by the school nurse, or it has been authorized by the Dean or Assistant Dean of Students.
