Counseling Center

CBHS Counseling Center

The CBHS Counseling Department offers a variety of services to students and their parents, including personal, academic, career, and college counseling to support every student during their four years of high school and beyond. Upon enrollment at CBHS, students are assigned a primary counselor who is available for academic, personal, and career counseling. As a junior each student is also assigned a college counselor to facilitate the college admissions process. Generally during a student’s senior year, he will meet mainly with his college counselor, however, his primary counselor remains available to him for any personal/academic issues that might arise. Counselor assignments may be found on a student’s personal profile after logging into the CBHS website. Parents are encouraged to contact their son’s counselor to discuss matters of concern or to schedule individual appointments. Students may schedule appointments with their counselors by completing a “request for interview” form in the Counseling Center or by requesting an appointment via email.

PLEASE NOTE: The new CBHS Counseling Center is scheduled for completion in September. Until that time, counselors have the following temporary offices: Mr. Callicot and Mrs. Orians are in the northwest loft of the library. Dr. Hill, Mrs. McRae, and Mrs. Mistretta are in the southwest loft of the library. Br. Phil is sharing Br. Joel’s office in the southeast loft of the library. Mr. Pletcher is in Room 362 in McEniry Hall, and Mr. Skirius is in Room 324 in the Campus Ministry Office. We look forward to welcoming you to our new offices … look for information on the Counseling Center Open House this fall!
