The De La Salle Scholars are a group of boys who have earned scholarships based on their entrance exam scores. From the very beginning, this group is placed on our most advanced honors track and will have the opportunity to take a wide range of AP and collegiate dual-enrollment classes as upperclassmen.
The top 10% of the Class of 2018 attained an average ACT score of 32.4. The Class of 2018 also included four National Merit Finalists and six Commended Students. During the 2017-2018 school year, 31 students reached "AP scholar" status by scoring a 3 or higher in 3 or more AP exams, thereby earning college credit.
In the last three years, Brothers’ Boys have enrolled into institutions such as the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the University of Notre Dame, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Vanderbilt University, the University of Virginia, the University of Southern California, Southern Methodist University, Stanford University, Texas Christian University, Tulane University, Washington and Lee University, and Rhodes College.
