Eucharistic Adoration at CBHS chapel

Students at Christian Brothers High School participate in Eucharistic Adoration every month. The first Friday of school each month, Msgr. John McArthur, AFSC, CBHS Chaplain, begins the morning by placing the Blessed Sacrament in exposition in the Brothers’ chapel. Throughout the school day, religion teachers bring their students to the chapel to spend time in prayer, reflection, and adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Msgr. McArthur remains in the chapel all day to allow students to participate in the sacrament of Reconciliation. Every month more than 250 students spend time in adoration while at least 30 go to confession. This monthly experience allows students to truly understand the phrase “Let us remember we are in the holy presence of God.”
