Christian Brothers High School has a proud tradition in athletics. We expect our athletes, coaches and fans to represent our Christian Brothers community by displaying the highest standards of sportsmanship and self-discipline.

With two-thirds of our student body participating in Sports Programs, we believe that lessons learned in athletics, as with all of our extracurricular activities, help to shape and emphasize the Core Principles of Lasallian Education that CBHS was founded upon. Faith in the Presence of God, respect for all persons, concern for the poor and social justice, an inclusive community, and a quality education.

Brothers Athletics

In the Fall Season, our Brothers compete in Cross Country, Fencing, Football, and Golf. Consistently competing at the State level with a level of heart and discipline on the course and in Tom Nix Stadium on Friday nights.

In the Winter Season, our Brothers compete in Basketball, Bowling, Ice Hockey, Swimming, and Wrestling. Our Winter sports are nationally recognized programs with atmospheres that are unrivaled in our area.

In the Spring Season, our Brothers compete in Baseball, Lacrosse, Rugby, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, Trap, and Water Polo. CBHS has won more baseball (13) and soccer (11) state championships than any other school in Tennessee. We are the gold standard of Student-Athletes in our community.
