Front Desk Assistant - Afternoon

Christian Brothers High School is seeking a candidate to fill the afternoon position of Front Desk Assistant and Co-Supervisor of Attendance in Stephen Hall for the upcoming 2024-25 School Year.

  • Part-Time Position (12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday)
  • Compensation starts at $20/hour
  • Reports to the Assistant Dean of Students

Job Description:

The Front Desk Assistant/Co-Supervisor of Attendance coordinates the front desk in Stephen Hall, the main entrance to the campus. This person welcomes and checks in all visitors to the campus, answers incoming phone calls, and supports the Academic Administration as needed. The Front Desk Assistant/Co-Supervisor of Attendance works closely with the Dean of Students and the Assistant Dean of Students on monitoring and reporting daily attendance. As a member of the CBHS community, this person will be engaged with various projects to enhance the student and parent experience at CBHS. Office hours for this part-time position will be from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday when school is in session. Summer hours are to be determined.


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Effective time management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, manage relationships, meet goals, and articulate messages.

About CBHS

Christian Brothers High School is an independent Catholic school for young men in grades 9 through 12. Steeped in the Lasallian tradition of our school's founder, we serve a diverse student body from more than 90 primary schools representing over 50 zip codes in West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and East Arkansas.

We offer courses on multiple levels to serve a diverse group of learners. Yet, in the past four years, 10 students were named National Merit finalists with 19 students commended for their performance, and 11 students with a perfect ACT score.
