The Road to College
Attention Sophomores and Juniors and their Parents:  Washington University in St. Louis will host a free college planning program on Thursday, June 19th on the Wash U campus. Topics include high school curriculum choices, admissions information, campus life, and the role of parents in the admissions process.  This is a wonderful program even if you are not interested in Wash U.    Register online as soon as possible at www.roadtocollege.wustl.edu.  Places will fill up fast. See Mrs. Jones if you have any questions.

Summer camp counselors needed

Summer camp counselors needed for Camp Good Times, a sleepover camp for people of all ages with special needs. The camp will be at Shelby Forest June 21-27. Please contact Daniel Lawrence at daniel_cgt@yahoo.com for more information.  This is a very rewarding and fun experience!

Honor Council
The council will meet Friday during homeroom in Room 305.
SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR, SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS 2008-2009

Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors who wish to run for class office for next year must sign up Thursday or Friday of this week.  Please see SGA Austin Dixon, SGA Vice-President in room 311 to put your name on  the list.  To be eligible, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA and no serious disciplinary offenses.  Voting will take place in HR next Wednesday.

Chicago Bound
Do you want to go to a White Sox game this summer?  Want to complete your service hours in a week with great new friends?  Want to spend a week living on a college campus?  Come join Lasallian Youth this summer.  Information about the summer Lasallian Youth trip to Chicago is now availble.  Stop by room 307 and see Mr. Kuehl to find out more.  All Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors are welcome to attend.  Application are due by May 15th.
Soccer Uniforms
All JV and Freshmen players must turn in their soccer uniforms today during HR in the P.E. Gym to Coach Lima.
JV BASEBALL

The Baby Brothers had their 13 game winning streak snapped last night as they fell to the Bartlett Panthers.  The Brothers are back in action again today in a Losers Bracket final against Arlington at Bartlett at 4:30.

Soccer Region Final Game
The soccer team would like to invite everyone to support the "Brothers" vs. SBA tonight at 7 pm at MUS soccer field. The soccer team is fighting for our 9th consecutive region title.
Physicals for Basketball Players
All basketball players planning on playing next season need to report to Ortho Memphis on Saturday, May 10,  at 1:30 pm.   You must have a physical to play and if you don't get a physical your parents must pay to have one.
Free Kaplan ACT/SAT Prep

Attention Juniors:  Kaplan Test Prep will offer a free combination ACT/SAT practice exam for all interested students on Saturday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memphis Kaplan Center at 4515 Poplar Ave., Suite 300.
