16. Help us God
O God, creator of us all, help us to
love one another as You love us. Help us to see Your image in all our
brothers and sisters, even the unborn. Forgive us for failing to love You
in them. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord, Who lives
and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
17. You created a purpose for me
Our father, you created me for a
purpose a specific task for the church and humankind. You have always
known the work I was cut out for, a work which only I can do, and no
other. If I do not accept this work, it will never be done, therefore, I
have a job to do. Make clear to me your will, and I will follow you, in
whatever this task may be. I know that I can do all things in you, my
strength.
18. Sharing
Some share their lives with all they
meet along life’s thoroughfare, a smile, a nod, a silence sweet, there
are the joys they share.
Some close their eyes along the
road, while others hold their ears, and there are quick and thoughtless
words, that transform smiles to tears.
Our
hearts tick off the nights and days like clocks upon a shelf, and lonely
is the one who wastes God’s time upon himself.

19. Share this love
Lord, I am filled with the life You
have shared with me. Just knowing You love me fills me with joy.
Lord, I know You want me to share this
love and joy with others. To share Your gifts with them is to follow You
to be Christian.
There are many ways of sharing, Lord
many ways of loving. Send Your Spirit to help me know how best to share my
life, my love, my hopes and my joy with others.
20. You give me strength
Holy
Spirit when I am weak, You give me strength to carry on. You comfort me
each time I seek Your loving arms to lean on.
You
are the Father that I need. You have the wisdom that I lack. You give me
courage to succeed, when I alone, would have turned back.
I
may have crosses in my life, but I will never know despair; for when I
seek you in my strife, I know so well you will be there.
