Christian Brothers High School is continually searching for competent teachers in each academic area of the school’s curriculum that will support the mission of Christian Brothers High School and the Roman Catholic Church.  Also, we search for teachers who will further the academic, spiritual, and emotional well-being of our boys.

We seek teachers who are willing to be open to personal, professional, and spiritual growth.  Teachers must be eligible for state licensure in their academic area or working toward their eligibility.   Teaching applicants must complete all basic education courses, student teaching, and courses in their specialty area.  Also, teachers at CBHS are expected to stay current in their field of study by completing 6 credit hours in their respective fields over a 5 year period.   CBHS reimburses teachers for all professional development, including advanced degree work in an education-related field.

Teachers must be available for five periods of teaching, a homeroom period, one period for substitution for absent teachers and one period for preparation (Adjustments to the teaching schedule are made in those cases when teachers have a significant load of co-curricular activity or school administrative duty).
