Random Acts of Kindness Week

Students as De La Salle Elementary School celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week the week of November 11- 15.  Students discussed the meaning of the word kindness and ways to be kind to others in their Religion classes.  Teachers kept their eyes out for students who could be caught being nice.  If students were spotted doing a good deed without being asked, they were given a card.  Students put their name on the card and turned them in to their teachers to be put in a drawing at the end of the week.  A winner was selected from each class.  Winners were presented with T shirts which were donated by Christian Brothers High School.  The three winners were Georgina Estupino (Kindergarten), Andrea Lopez (First grade), and Phetsamone Sonesana (Second grade).
