Student Government Association
SGA is responsible for enhancing school spirit, providing activities for student involvement, and sponsoring school wide events. Executive officers are elected in the spring for the following year, and homeroom representatives are elected in the fall. Open to all students.

Bridge Builders
Bridge Builders® develops among high school students a group of future leaders who will lay aside individual, social, economic, and cultural differences to work for the benefit of all. It is a two-year program that comprises students from all public, private, and parochial high schools in the Memphis area. It is open to Sophomores who apply and are selected to fill the 16 CBHS membership positions at Bridgebuilders.

CBHS Big Brothers
The Big Brothers is a group of seniors selected by the SGA Executive Board for their commitment to CBHS and positive attitude. They meet several times during the year with the freshmen to help answer questions and concerns they may have about their first year at CBHS and to encourage their little brothers to become active and involved.

Chess Club
The purpose of the Chess Club is th help members develop skill and disciplline, and to enjoy and interact in a friendly competition. Open to all students.

Go Brothers Club
The purpose of the GO BROTHERS CLUB is to promote school spirit at athletic events.GO BROTHERS is sponsored by the SGA, and is open to all students.

French Club
The French Club introduces students to the culture and customs of French society and instills members with a global perspective. Members must be enrolled in a French course at CBHS.

Guitar Club
The Guitar Club is open to anyone who likes to play, would like to learn to play, or can help others improve their guitar playing.
Honor Council
The Honor Council addresses any reported violations of hte CBHS Honor Code and makes recommendations to the administration regarding action that should be taken. The students serving on the Honor Council are selected annually by a student voting process and confirmed by the faculty

Junior Classical League
The purpose of the JCL is to build community among Latin students and further the appreciation of Classical Studies. Members must be enrolled in a Latin course at CBHS.

Key Club
Key Club is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Part of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. CBHS Key Club will provide at least 60 hours of service to the community per member per year. Membership requires GPA of at least 3.00 and teacher recommendations.

Knowledge Bowl
The Knowledge Bowl Team comprises 10 Varsity members and 6 Junior Varsity members selected through written and oral competition. The "Brain Wave" participates in academic contests throughout the year. Five varsity members also compete for scholarship funds as part of WREG-TV's Knowledge Bowl competition.

Lasallian Youth
Lasallian Youth is an organization formed in the tradition of the founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle. We are part of a worldwide organization that works to promote a spirit of faith, service, community, and social justice on campus and in the broader community. Open to all students.

OYPS
The Organization of Young Political Scientists comprises students who are interested in learning more about politics and government. Members participate in a number of conferences throughout the year including the Model U.N. and YMCA Youth Legislature. Open to all students.

Pen and Pad
Pen and Pad is a quarterly literary journal that is written, compiled, edited, and published by our students for our students. It includes student created poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, book and movie reviews, art, and photography. The journal gives students the chance to have their work published and showcase their creativity and talent.

CBHS students will investigate science concepts in the form of lab experiments and field studies. Open to all students.

Spanish Club
Activities include monthly dinners, soccer games with the other language clubs and service projects to the Hispanic community in Memphis. Members must be enrolled in Spanish or have a special interest in the language.

Student Ambassadors
Ambassadors are students who will represent CBHS with pride, who know the school, have good communication skills, and would be good role models for future students. Their primary role is to serve as hosts and tour guides to campus visitors, particularly prospective students and parents. Students interested is applying for a limited number of positions must participate in a training program.
