Thank you for considering Christian Brothers High School. Christian Brothers has been educating young men in Memphis since 1871 and worldwide since 1681, when John Baptist de La Salle began training teachers in Reims, France. In 1900 de La Salle was canonized a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, and in 1950 Pope Pius XII named him “Patron of all Christian Educators.” The Christian Brothers currently have over 900 schools in 83 countries. The headquarters of the Brothers of the Christian Schools is in Rome, Italy.
Tuition for the 2009-10 is $8,600. When added with books and fees, the total cost for incoming freshmen is estimated at $8,875. Christian Brothers High School offers academic scholarships and financial aid. Financial aid may be pursued through the CBHS business office once contracts have been submitted.
