Men for Tomorrow. Brothers for Life.

As we move into our 140th year of the Brothers in Memphis, the image of the St. John Baptist La Salle tradition at Christian Brothers High School continues to lead the Mid-South in excellence in academics and athletics. Everyone who has been involved with CBHS has helped build a tradition, a history and a reputation, which is untouchable by any other school in the city.

One thing which has not changed over the years is our bond as alumni. One of the most common statements made about Christian Brothers graduates is how close we are as a whole. More than 10,200 living alumni throughout all 50 states and beyond is a testament to the good work that the Christian Brothers has accomplished through the years.

Our greatest richness, as Brothers Boys, lies in our people – Brothers, teachers, students and especially our fellow alumni. The boys who enter CBHS and endure its rigorous course of study can graduate as men and be proud to take with them that Lasallian spirit. There is an incredible wealth of talent and resources that set our alumni apart. We can all be proud.

The mission of the CBHS Alumni Association is to ensure that we never lose sight of this fact, and all of you are encouraged  involved with our Association. The Alumni Association sponsors a number of events throughout the year, including football game cookouts, Alumni Golf Tournament, the Distinguished Alumnus Award, Mass and Breakfasts, Alumni Socials and, of course, the Annual Fund.

The Alumni Office is located inside Stephen Hall and is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. during the school day. John Morris has served as the Director of Communications and Alumni Relations since 2005. For more information, call (901) 261-4930 or e-mail, jmorris@cbhs.org.

Reunion Planning
Minimize

The CBHS Alumni Office is ready and willing to help with your reunion planning. The staff typically provides lists of mailable, lost and deceased alumni. A committee of class members will begin the planning process, including working the lists to help find lost alums. This web site also may be used by classes to help find lost classmates.

While many reunion committees know exactly what they wish to do on a reunion weekend, the alumni office staff can also help groups find the right mix of events and activities that will make for a memorable event.

One of the most important activities for every reunion group is a trip to the school's campus, whether it be for a stag, a family picnic, a banquet for couples, or a Sunday morning Mass. The Brothers are anxious for alumni- especially those who have not been on campus for a while- to see how a beautiful campus has become an even better and more attractive place for learning.
