Class of 2018 awarded $27.5 million in scholarships

Congratulations to the 222 seniors of the CBHS Class of 2018. These students will graduate Saturday, May 12, 1 pm, at Hope Church. This will be the 147th commencement for Christian Brothers High School, founded in 1871.

The graduation will be streamed LIVE online and will be available for viewing beginning at 12:30 p.m. at www.cbhs.org/live.

Some interesting facts about the Class of 2018:

- 222 Brothers' Boys will graduate into an alumni network of more than 11,000
- 100% accepted into college
- Average ACT score for the class is 27.2. The average ACT for the top 10% is 33.4.
- More than $27.5 million in awarded scholarships
- Admitted to 149 colleges/universities in 33 states and Washington, DC
- Attending 63 colleges/universities in 27 states and Washington, DC
- Five students received service academy appointments/full ROTC scholarships
- 118 are Marr Department of Business students
- 61 are STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Medicine) students
- 18,500 service hours completed over the four-year period
