Religious leaders interact with CBHS students for Thanksgiving service

CBHS held a Morning Assembly schedule for the Nov. 21 Thanksgiving Interfaith Prayer Service. More than two dozen ministers came to campus today and held three 15-minute sessions for the boys. The ministers led a discussion on the virtues of thanksgiving and love and how their faith practices those virtues, and then they led the students in prayer so that the students will see how prayer happens in other faiths. The 870 students at CBHS signed up last week to listen to the various ministers, rabbis, and priests.

"I’m very excited about this prayer service," said Mary Delgado, campus minister, who along with Lindsey Newman, Director of Mission and Ministry, coordinated the event. "A majority of our students had their faiths represented by our visitors today, and I’m sure all will be happy to learn about the faiths of their friends and classmates."
