Senior Lacrosse players Clark, Mahoney sign to play at college level



Christian Brothers High School senior Lacrosse players Jackson Mahoney and Ames Clark were honored at the Fall Signing Day, held November 15 at the CBHS Brothers Development Center. Jackson Mahoney signed his National Letter of Intent on November 8, making him the third Division I recruit in school history, as he is off to Mercer College. Ames Clark will be the sixth CBHS player in the past five years to continue his lacrosse career at the Division III level. Ames will be attending York College in Pennsylvania.

Jackson Mahoney was named 2nd team All-State and 1st team All-West in 2017. A member of the varsity since his sophomore year, Jackson is the third player in school history to commit to play NCAA D1 lacrosse. Jackson will be attending Mercer College in Georgia in the fall of 2018. He is the son of Jack Mahoney of Germantown and Christian Mahoney of Germantown. His older brother Connor also attended the ceremony.

Ames Clark amassed 26 goals and 11 assists for 37 points in 18 games in 2017. A member of the varsity since his sophomore year, Ames has exceled and will be joining a Division III National Championship contender York College. He is the son of L.J. and Becca Clark of Collierville. Although Mr. Clark was out of town, Ames' sister Maren was able to attend the ceremony.
