BOWLING TEAM EARNS 2ND PLACE FINISH AT STATE
The CBHS bowling team finished the season with a runner-up place in the state championships. Junior Will Drummonds received extra bowling time when he made the top 6 individual qualifiers, but lost in step ladder finals to SBA’s Conner Nichols, who in turn lost to the ultimate champ. On the team side, CBHS dominated the baker seeding matches, scoring a 6-1 and being seeded 1st for the tournament. The boys handily defeated Father Ryan (24-3) with junior captain Jackson Stanley rolling a 216 and Will Drummond with a 206 in game 1and Ezell-Harding (22-5) with juniors Kyle Frasure contributing a 218 and 220, Andrew Brocato with a 248 and captain Jackson Stanley with a 201 to get into the finals against SBA. The final match was loud and CBHS was down 97- but up by 8 pins going into the final game of the match, but the push by SBA put them over the top. This team will be back in the state finals next season. Congratulations BROTHERS!
