Six Seniors named National Commended Students

Six Seniors named National Commended Students

 

 

Congratulations to six seniors who have been named National Merit Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation:  Sam Banks, Jacob Malkin, Michael Pham, Ragan Sernel, Matthew Slavick, and Zachary Yancy. These students scored in the top 50,000 of all high school juniors nationwide who took the PSAT in October, 2015.

Sam Banks is the son of Barbara and Sam Banks, Jr. of Germantown. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School.

Jacob Malkin is the son of Andrea and Arthur Malkin of Germantown. He attended Houston Middle School.

Michael Pham is the son of Thanh Tuyeh Thi Pham of Memphis. He attended De La Salle Blessed Sacrament Elementary School.

Ragan Sernel is the son of Kerry Wilson Sernel of Germantown. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Elementary.

Matthew Slavick is the son of Kathleen and John Slavick of Germantown. He attended Holy Rosary Elementary.

Zach Yancy is the son of Kim and Kevin Yancy of Cordova. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Church Elementary School.
