CBHS seniors embark on Day of Service at various Memphis charities

On Wednesday, October 14, the senior class of CBHS embarked on the first senior day of service. In the morning, 200 seniors gathered for breakfast and a prayer service before boarding buses from Fed Ex and venturing out to 11 different service sites around the city. The boys spent the morning working at places like the Mid-South Food Bank, the Dorothy Day House, the Boys and Girls Club, and Ave Maria Home. Their work varied from repainting the parking lot at Birthright to completing yard work at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church to organizing toys for Christmas for Catholic Charities. The day provided the boys an opportunity both to work together as Brothers’ Boys and to live out the Lasallian mission serving those in need.
