Donations to Lifeblood surpass goal for the year

Thanks to the generosity of several students, faculty and staff members we surpassed our LifeBlood goal of 210 units for the year. (We actually donated 224 units for the year.) This past Tuesday, April 14,  LifeBlood left campus with 84 units of blood. Since each unit helps save the lives of three people, we helped save the lives of 252 people. This year, we impacted 672 lives. "Thank you for giving the gift of life! " said coordinator Gerry Taulman. "There are several LifeBlood donor centers in the Memphis area. Please make it a point to stop by and donate this summer."
