Also, congratulations to the CBHS Band which took first place with a superior rating in performance and sight reading in the highest division possible (grade 6) at the WTSBOA Concert Festival, held at Liberty Tech on Friday.  Only five bands dared enter as a division 6 level this year including Arlington Wind Ensemble ,Overton Wind Ensemble, Houston Wind Ensemble, Cordova Band, and our very own Christian Brothers Band. Not only did the band score a superior rating but they received superior ratings in every category including sight reading, sweeping the competition. Great solo's from Foster, Eavenson, Milbury, Atkinson, Sater, Sauser, Devall, and Rodgers along with high completes in the low brass section with Forcherio, Steorts, Charbonnet, Abbott and Benson in charge.

The performance  of “Constellation March” and “Occident and Orient” can be heard on the  band camp site at:   https://christianbrothersband.bandcamp.com/

"The boys represented the school well! said CBHS band director Patrick Bolton. "With this victory the band has been invited to the All State competition in Nashville in April. Thanks for all your support!"

Also, congratulations to the Christian Brothers Band members who participated in the WTSBOA Solo and Ensemble festival last Saturday hosted at Elmore Park Middle School. The band received 25 superior solo medals and 19 superior ensemble metals. Thanks for representing us well!
